Lucknow: Forty-two more positively tested for Covid-19 in Uttar Pradesh, encouraged the calculation to 17.08.410 on Friday, while the death toll rose to 22,756 with four health deaths, said a health bulletin.
Two deaths were reported from Allahabad, and each of Amethi and Ayodhya, he said.
In the past 24 hours, 42 new cases were reported in the state while 91 people were sent home after they recovered, he said.
The total recovery has reached 16,84,925, he said, adding the number of active cases at Uttar Pradesh stood at 729.
