Rome: Cristiano Ronaldo on Tuesday blew up a report that he tried to return to Real Madrid, hours after coach Carlo Ancelotti also said he would not bring Juventus forward to Spain.
In an Instagram post, Ronaldo said that “the story at Real Madrid was written”, even though he did not explicitly say that he was not looking for a way out of Juve.
He said that the conversation was “not polite” for him and “for all clubs involved in this rumor, and to their players and staff”.
“There are often news and stories that link me to a number of clubs in many different leagues, with no one worried about trying to find out the truth really,” Ronaldo added.
“I broke my silence now to say that I could not let people keep playing with my name.
I stayed focused on my career and in my work, committed and prepared all the challenges that I had to face.” Ronaldo has been the subject of a series of rumors about his future this summer.
On Tuesday Italy every day Corriere dello Sport said that his agent Jorge Mendah had offered 36-year-old players to Manchester City.
Other outlets say that Paris Saint-Germain was interested but stepped back as soon as they signed a close season, bringing Lionel Messi’s free agent to the French capital.
Earlier on Tuesday, Ancelotti said that Real Madrid were not interested in the return of men who fired the club for the Champions League Triumph.
“Cristiano is a legend of Real Madrid and he has all my love and respect.
I have never considered signing it.
We look forward to,” Ancelotti said on Twitter.
Since moving to Juve in 2018, Ronaldo has won two Serie A titles and one Italian Cup, but has not brought European glory, the Italian club is in desperate need.
