Lucknow: With two fresh Covid-19 deaths reported from the country, tolls because of viral diseases in Uttar Pradesh rose to 22,818 because the total infection case touched 17.09.248 with 14 new ones.
One death of each occurs in Mathura and Allahabad, the government said above in a statement on Sunday.
Of the 14 new Covid-19 cases, Lucknow and Varanasi reported two respectively.
In the last 24 hours, 37 covid patients recovered from the disease and dismissed, taking the total number of patients healed so far in the country to 16,86,165.
The total count of Covid-19 cases is active in the state standing in 265, the statement said.
In the last 24 hours, more than 2.19 samples were tested in the state, while more than 7.19 crore samples were tested in a state so far, the statement said.
