Ludhiana: Head of the City Planner, the local body department has been looking for replies from the commissioner of MC Pardeep Sabharwal and Senior Planner Planner Singh Bindra for the investigation report delivered by the additional commissioner Rishipal Singh.
After verifying the difference between the number of new electrical connections and the building plan approved by building a civil body branch, it was found that nearly 57,000 buildings had been built without building map approval and the branch of the building had not issued Challan to traffic jams.
Commissioner Rishipal conducted an investigation into the instructions of the Minister of Local Institution Brahm Mohindra published on June 16, 2020.
It took more than one and a half years to compile the report, according to where from 2016 to 2021, PowerCom issued 1.42 lakh new connections.
Of these, 76,770 properties fall within the MC limit.
From 2016 to 2021, only 7,471 agreed development plans and 11,441 CHALLANS issued for violations of regulations with buildings.
There are no records of 57,858 buildings.
