Kochi: Kerala High Court on Tuesday seeks the center and response of the state government on the request that seeks to transfer photos of Prime Minister Narendra Modi from Covid-19 vaccination certificate.
“Recognized,” said Justice n Nagaresh and issued a notification to the center and the government of Kerala seeking their attitude in the petition by senior citizens who have argued that photos of PM about the vaccination certificate are violations of fundamental rights.
The court directs the center and the state to submit a statement of their response before the next hearing date.
Applicants, Peter Myaliparampil, have argued that he had paid two vaccine doses and therefore, the certificate was “private room” with his personal details in the record and therefore, inappropriate to disturb the individual privacy.
