Ahmedabad: A 19-year-old boy, Jidav Jigar, was lost from his school in Dewa Village in Banaskantha in 2011.
A decade later, when the local police sought assistance from Indian unique identification authorities (uidai) to provide every detail.
About Jadav to track it, the Aadhaar authority quoted the privacy rights of the person and insisted it could be ordered to divulge the men’s details only after hearing the person.
Uidai told the Gujarat High Court that HC can order it to provide information only after hearing authority and people whose information is sought.
The core of the Aadhaar authority confuses HC which directs Uidai on Wednesday to work with the police in his investigation into Jadav’s loss after 10 years.
Jadav has disappeared mysteriously in 2011.
In March, HC directed the police to launch the probe and ordered Uidai to work together.
When the police wrote to Uidai, he said it would be difficult to identify someone based on date of birth and name and without aadhaar numbers.
