Barracuda has introduced key findings in the report titled’The condition of application security in 2021′.

Commissioned from the cloud safety firm, the study examined 750 program security decision makers accountable for their company’s program development and safety to obtain their viewpoints on information breaches, leading software security vulnerabilities, and also the most significant product capabilities necessary to guard against multi-vector program strikes.

The findings suggest that more must be done in order to safeguard against program security risks, especially newer risks such as bot strikes, API strikes, and provide chain strikes.

Highlights from the report include: On average, respondent associations in India were broken twice in the last 12 months as a direct consequence of an software vulnerability.

* In India, web application vulnerability/ zero-day vulnerability would be the most probable contributor to effective security breaches caused by program vulnerabilities before 12 months.

* 52 percent of respondents state web software vulnerability/ zero-day exposure resulted in a thriving security violation which exploited vulnerabilities in the firm’s software in the past 12 months.
