Reservoir oustee Creates own pyre, Puts self on fire

HYDERABAD: A 70-year-old guy burnt to death in a funeral pyre he ordered himself with wooden logs which were a part of his eponymous home at Vemulaghat village at Siddipet district, at the wee hours of Friday.
The dead person, Malla Reddy, could have experienced had problems with all the rehabilitation and resettlement (R&R) bundle long to Mallannasagar reservoir oustees.
Malla Reddy was among those folks ousted from their houses in town, which will be one of the ones that would be submerged by the reservoir.
What drove Malla Reddy to suicide isn’t evident as his household has advised the local sales authorities they don’t have any problems with the R&R bundle.
Malla Reddy had returned Vemulaghat on Thursday night by a village at Gajwel mandal in which he was staying with his own brother-in-law.
His body was discovered burning members of a few households that reside in town.
They alerted the authorities that initiated an evaluation and delivered to the body for a postmortem assessment in hospital.
Reddy and grandson obtained relief from 2019 itselfOfficialSeveral homes in the village have now already been obtained and demolished to the Mallannasagar job along with the villagers changed to another location.
BJP Dubbak MLA M Raghunandan Rao alleged that Malla Reddy took the radical measure as he hadn’t got the R&R bundle and advocated chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to check in the matter.
Thoguta tahsildar G Bal Reddy told TOI there wasn’t any problem concerning Malla Reddy’s R&R bundle.
He said that the family had acquired what had been due to these in 2019 itself.
Reddy was awarded $7.5 lakh and also allocated a two-bedroom home.
His grandson was given $5 lakh plus a 250-square-yard plot.
Reddy, but didn’t reside in home allocated to him.
Officials stated household issues might have compelled Reddy to finish his life.
Reddy’s wife had passed away a couple of months back.
His two brothers and their husbands also have passed away.
