Ghaziabad: A thirty-year-old man allegedly shot dead by two people borne by motorbikes here, said the police on Sunday.
The police were told by a pedestrian that a man lay in a injured condition on the road in the Sahibad area, the Deputy Supervisor of Alok Dubey said.
A police team reached the place and took the man to the GTB Hospital in Shahdara in Delhi where the doctor stated he was taken dead, he said, adding a bullet to hit his head.
The man was identified as Amit Kumar and he came from Neilapuri in Northeast Delhi, police said.
Kumar was on his way home from Coloni Rajiv at Sahibabad on a scooter when he was killed on Saturday and Sunday intervention, they said.
The investigation revealed that Kumar had cases registered with him at various police stations in Delhi for gambling, Dubey said.
He had a monetary dispute with his in-laws and seven months ago his wife left him and lived with his parents along with four of their children, DSP said.
A fired fired after Brother Kumar filed a complaint over his murder, police said.
They said they had collected CCTV recordings near the scene of the incident and were investigating this problem.
