Residents annoyed garbage on the road

Coimbatore: The road to the Waste Management Center Corporation in Ukkadam has become a convenient place to dispose of garbage for several locals.
Most of the waste consists of plastic.
Apart from household waste, meat waste was also thrown away there, inviting a wild dog wrap to a busy residential area.
People say they are forced to dispose of waste in the open because corporate workers do not collect waste from the door to the door regularly.
“My wife is very special about cleanliness and asks me to get rid of garbage every day.
I throw it in stretching while on my way to my work,” said Ashraf Ali, a resident.
Nagar Prajendran residents requested a civic body to clean the area.
“Our locality, only a few meters from Lake Valankulam is beautified under the City Smart project, wears a neglected look.
People have to navigate garbage piles and handle wild dogs to enter our area,” he told toi scenery.
“The Civic body must ensure that the collection of door-to-door waste takes place well.
It also has to check the threat of wild dogs,” said a resident.
The company’s official promised to do garbage collection door-to-door every day.
“Residents will be sensitive to the right waste disposal,” he said.
