Coimbatore: A Cop-Turn-Thief was arrested by red hand while robbing a house in Senthil Nagar in Krishnapuran in Karumathampatti Municipality in early Tuesday.
Police Karumathampatti said the 35-year-old Muneswaran R, Indigenous Thiruppuvanam in Sivaganga District, was expelled from the police service after he was arrested for stealing a cellphone and motorbike in 2019.
A police officer said the Race Course, Police Inspector Sujatha was arrested by Muneswaran last year to grab the chain Gold from the mother of two police from the police recruiting school and put it in prison.
