Residents Catch EX-Cop Home Burging Red Hand

Coimbatore: A Cop-Turn-Thief was arrested by red hand while robbing a house in Senthil Nagar in Krishnapuran in Karumathampatti Municipality in early Tuesday.
Police Karumathampatti said the 35-year-old Muneswaran R, Indigenous Thiruppuvanam in Sivaganga District, was expelled from the police service after he was arrested for stealing a cellphone and motorbike in 2019.

“Muneeswaran then became a construction worker and alcoholism.
He has separated from his wife, who is also a police officer, and moved to a rented house,” the officer said.
