Coimbatore: M Abdul Rahim must live with the smell of waste for the past two years at his residence in the reshma park in Ukkadam.

Abdul Rahim said, “The problem of stagnation of waste has been there for the past two years.
We have approached officials, but there is no action taken until now.

We have invested our lives in our homes, and we don’t want them to waste.
“A woman from the area said that every home has a bah to store corporate water, but waste mixed with water.
“We don’t use it again.
However, it’s always filled with waste.
We use Borewell and fill the plastic tank mounted on the terrace.
We fill the plastic barrel to store water supplied by the company through the truck,” he said.
Limbahstagnan gas is a breeding place for mosquitoes.
“We have to close our doors and windows before sunset due to mosquito threats.
Children affected,” he said.
