Nagpur: In a unique way to protest the rain water flowing to their homes after the construction of the cement road, the old subhedar residents in Prabhag number 32, led by corporators Rupali Thakur, stormed the Hanuman Nagar Zone Nagar Municipal Corporation office with a bucket full of dirty water , Executive Engineer Rajesh Bhutkar escaped from the office after being told about Irked residents storming the zone office.

Because it was convicted this year, residents of the old subharar area faced rainwater entering their homes.
After analyzing infrastructure work, residents found that the road level increased and so was a stormwater inlet.
The level is more than the level of their home along the road, which leads to rainwater entering their homes, said Corporator.
On June 28, the day when the rain water entered their homes, residents tried to contact the Bhutkar executive engineer who had oversee the work of work cement.
“Even though it has at least 40 phone calls, we failed to reach the executive engineer,” said Parshu Thakur.
Then, the delegation of residents led by Thakur met the Assistant Commissioner of the City of Hanuman Nagar Zone Sushma Mandge and filed a memorandum that demanded direct steps to improve subharar networks in the subharar area.
Residents are convinced that the executive engineer will visit the area and review the situation.
Even after 10 days, Bhutkar did not visit the area also did not take corrective steps.
