Letter: People who live in around 50 housing communities on Jalan Kanal Posh Vesu have started a campaign against alleged property sales to members of the minority community.
Residents have held several meetings in the regional park in the last few days and told local city council members about this issue.
The group of residents from different communities now demands the introduction of disturbed areas acting in the area.
This problem began after the occupant of Aakash Evergreen suspected that the promoter of the housing scheme in front of the community was trying to sell property to people from the minority community.
Residents then held a meeting with the developer, who initially convinced that there were no such plans, but this did not satisfy the occupants and they began the movement.
“Initially, the scheme for a bungalow was planned, but then a low-rise apartment was developed.
We suspect that people from the minority community are being sold property here,” said a resident.
