CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu chief minister M K Stalin on Tuesday declared the state meeting could pass resolutions against the Union administration’s controversial farm laws and also the Citizen Amendment Act (CAA) at the upcoming budget session.

The party was demanding that the Union government destroys the Act, that have been contrary to the interest of the farming industry.
“This administration has taken a very clear stand to pass on a’unanimous resolution’ contrary to the farm legislation to reflect the thoughts of these farmers throughout the nation.
There’s absolutely not any change inside,” Stalin advised the 234-member meeting, which includes four MLAs in the BJP.
