Kolkata: The Calcutta High Court on Tuesday said that a woman refused to reduce the cost of sexual harassment, and gave it in writing to the investigation committee, her wish must be respected.

In an assessment of the case of sexual harassment in August 2020 against a professor of the University of Burdwan, Judge Amrita Sinha said: Students “prefer calm burials for all incidents.
There is no reason why the wishes and intentions of female students will not be considered …” In this case , allegations of sexual harassment are leveled by third parties which include student unions, political party students, and head departments where professors work.
The complainant has provided an audio 2018 clip which is reported to contain the conversations accused and victims.
HC notes that this clip has never been an updated by agency.
The university then refers to this case to the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC).
When ICC tried to reach students, he said he would not suppress the allegations and even gave him that he, and his parents, was willing to continue this problem.
Given this, ICC can not continue with this case but recommend that the university be able to take appropriate action.
The ICC recommendation forms the basis of the process of the University Department of Professor and he is prohibited from all academic activities.
Professor then moved HC.
