WASHINGTON: Mayor of Los Angeles Eric Garcetti, nominated by US President Joe Biden as the country’s ambassador to India, has said that he feels honored to receive the nomination and will bring the same energy, the commitment with him serves the city of his new role.
If confirmed by the Senate, Garcetti, 50, will replace Kenneth Juster, who served as US Ambassador to India during the Trump administration.
Earlier this week, juster was appointed as a famous person in the Foreign Relations Council.
