Noida: Chapter Noida from the National Restaurant Association of India (NRAI) has written to Excise Commissioners Uttar Pradesh, seek assistance for the industry that has been influenced by the new round of restrictions due to the third wave of pandemic.
The letter, signed by the Restaurateur and Noida Chapter Head Varun Khera, said the industry, which is one of the biggest employers, is one of the most affected and requires immediate assistance.
NRAI has been seeking to neglect excise costs for the period when the operation was beaten due to fungi and locking since the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020.
It has suggested that restaurants must be permitted to pay quarterly or half-annually, in addition to relaxation in the cutoff for deposits from January 31 to March.
The letter stated that the restaurant industry had paid full excise fees from the start of the pandemic but could not run a business in accordance with the condition of the license, especially during the two waves last year.
It added extended night mushrooms removed in October but was restored in December.
Industry, NRA argues, has not recovered from the negative impact of the second wave and restrictions for the third wave has increased financial problems.
The restaurant owner underlines that Delhi and Haryana and Haryana countries have presented costs for this period.
Restrictions, with industrial reasons require immediate intervention to survive and work towards resurrection.
