Restrictions on thinner plastic than 75 microns in Gurgaon

Gurgaon: The city of Gurgaon City (MCG) on Monday announced that the civil body had taken steps to implement a thin plastic ban from 75 microns in the city.
This step was carried out after the Ministry of Environment Union was told plastic waste management (amendment) rules, 2021.
MCG Commissioner Mukesh Kumar Ahuja said that they scoffed the norms would be subject to sanctions depending on the amount of his plastic / he had.
A fine ranges from Rs 500 Rs 25,000 on the basis of plastic weight.
An official MCG said that the team will be formed to examine the implementation of the rules and fines of the RS 500 will be charged for plastic products with weight upto 100 grams, Rs 1,500 for weight upto 500 grams, RS 3,000 for weight upto 1kg, rs 10,000 for weight upto 5 kg , Rs 20,000 for weight upto 10 kg and rs 25,000 for more than 10 kg will be charged on norms considered women.
The Commissioner said that according to the amendment, the ban was imposed on a thinner use of plastic from 75 microns from September 30, 2021 and the next sidewalk would be imposed on thin plastic from 120 microns from December 31, 2022.
MCG Commissioner also said that the manufacture, import, Stocking, distribution, sales and use of several disposable products, polystyrene and expanded polystyrene will be banned from July 1, 2022.
In communication sent to all companies, the local city department body has stated that all districts to stop single use using plastic goods , which has a low utility and waste potential high at 2022.
