Nagpur: After the Minister Guardian Nitin Raut announced that restrictions would be re-introduced in Nagpur as Covid-19 cases increased in the city, medical experts and business leaders questioned the decision.
However, members of the Covid-19 District Task Force, which supports decisions that say precautions are a must because the development is worrying.
“So, more than 10 cases are the threshold?” Tanya specialist infectious disease Dr.
Nitin Shinde.
“This means that the administration expects zero covid situations in this district, which is the theory that is not practical and impossible,” he added.
He said it would be better to find bags that were not vaccinated and target vaccination.
“This is how the British and other countries fights with a pandemic.
We must achieve vaccine coverage of more than 90%.
As far as new cases, 1% lifespan in the 25 lakh population can be accepted,” he added.
Dr.
Mahesh Shah’s intensive care specialist said the virus would remain here, and normal life must be permitted until the number of very high cases detected.
“Who said that the 5% test position means a controlled spread.
We have less than 1% and still run for locking, which is an administrative decision and not a scientific decision,” he added.
This is the most appropriate and timely decision, said Dr.
Prashant Joshi, a senior member of Satging Covid.
According to him, cases are increasing, which is not a good sign.
“It won’t need a lot of time to multiply after it starts.
The public has the impression that there is no covid now.
Very few who follow the appropriate behavior of Covid.
People enjoy being careless,” he added.
Joshi also suggested that scientific steps such as the sequencing of genome new patients must be taken on the priority of Maharashtra Industry & Trade (Camit), said the administration jumped to the conclusion of the third wave.
“On behalf of the business community and employees, we asked Minister of Raut to conduct a deep discussion with all stakeholders, consider the submission and review the decision to apply strict locking in Nagpur Regency,” said Senior Covid-19 member unit said it was time to be more careful – Hati for at least four weeks in September.
Authorities say various stakeholders will be consulted in the next three days and scientific restrictions imposed.
