Rajkot: A retired army was ordered for raping a woman who was married in the Mavdi area in Rajkot.
Complaints against the allegations of Rajesh Jotaniya were registered at the Rajkot Taluka Police Station in a 32-year-old woman who alleged that she was raped and attacked several times for the past 7-8 months.
According to the police, Jotaniya was a neighbor who survived the rape who was also the mother of a three-year-old boy.
Jotaniya began visiting their home a year ago after retiring from the army.
The complainant stated that Jotaniya tried to commit it for the first time about eight months ago.
When he refused, he attacked him and then suspected of raping him.
Jotaniya also threatened to slander his image if he told him to others.
The woman in her complaint stated that Jotaniya raped him several times at his home and at his residence for the past 7-8 months.
Police Inspector J V Dhola from the police station Rajkot Taluka said that they had begun investigated in this case but had not arrested the defendant.
