Nagpur: Police Gittikhan has ordered a retired police sub-inspector on Tuesday for allegedly exploiting a woman for more than 15 years with a wedding pretext.
The defendant has been identified as Rajbhadursingh Chauhan (59), a resident of Natraj.
The police said Chauhan had met with a complainant woman when she asked to lift a two-wheeled vehicle to file a complaint against her in-laws in 2005.
In the complaint, the woman accused Chauhan promising and attacked her sexually from July and with sexually 1, 2005 to 11 July 2020 .
Police said Chauhan was married.
But when he refused to keep his promise, the woman filed a complaint against Chauhan with Gittikhan police.
In another incident, the Tehsil Police had ordered a man from Rajasthan to exploit a city girl between January 26 and January 29 last year after promising him to marry him.
Police said the complainant had met with the defendant Pritamsingh Tanvar (23, a resident of Buhana, Rajasthan) on the social networking site in 2019.
Both of them then fell in love.
Tanvar proposed to get married and visited the city in early 2020.
The complainant met him for three days staying at a city hotel where Tanvar was suspected of raping him.
He then went to Rajasthan and the duo stayed in touch for more than a year.
However, in June this year, he began to ignore the call and complainant message.
The girl then approached her, but Tanvar allegedly refused to marry her.
He then filed firmly against Tanvar with the Tehsil police.
