Thiruvananthapuram: MP Shashi Tharoor said if the Vande Bharat train can meet the demand for a fast trip in the state, the government must rethink on the Silverline project.
Tharoor has supported the Silverline project which is debated by the Head of the Head of Pinarayi Vijayan and has bred the leadership of the Congress in the country.
However, he now learned to rethink on his support for the Silverline project after the announcement of 400 new Vande Bharat trains.
“One of the interesting elements for Kerala on # Budget2022 is the announcement of 400 new #Vandebharat trains, who can travel at 180kmph: Can Goi & Gok see this as a cheaper and more energy-efficient Silverline substitute,” he tweeted.
Theoror said that very It is important to learn whether Vande Bharat Express will act as an alternative to the state government silverline project.
In addition, it will eliminate all the fears raised by leaders of the State Congress for land acquisition for the project and the environmental impact that will be created, he added.
“Bringing the #Vandebharat train to Kerala can handle care of @ vijayanpinarayi for fast train trips to promote development, & reduce concerns @ incperala about the acquisition of land & environmental impact.
Goi & Gok SHLD discusses win-win results in the interests of the country,” he tweeted to The Union train Ministry, he was under severe anger from the state leadership.
There was a demand for the High Command party to take disciplinary action against it because of opposing party policy in the state.
Ask the state and central government to conduct research whether Vande Bharat’s project sacrifices and energy saving compared to the Silverline project.
He said that if the Vande Bharat train is available in Kerala it will meet the demand for state governments for fast transportation routes from one end of the country to another country.
