Chennai: Madras University on Wednesday gave a phD title annually to General Subroto Mitra who conducted research on research on terrorism, security challenges to India and neighboring countries.
Deputy University of Chancellor S Gowri gave a doctorate certificate to the wife of General Partner Pushpita Mitra at an event here.
“Subroto Mitra has analyzed cross-border terrorism and ways to prevent his future in his thesis work.
This is an important research work carried out by field officers.
Universities are proud of in giving this degree certificate to family members,” said Gowri.
Pushpita thanked the university for recognizing the hard work done by her husband.
His daughter Radhika Mitra was also present during the title.
“Terrorism assumes different shapes and manifests various ways.
These theses issue new forms that emerge and terrorism problems including cyber terrorism.
Subroto Mitra also recommends ways to calculate this problem, work together between themselves and get ready, “Utham Kumar Jamadhagni said, head, department of defense and strategic studies.

Subroto Mitra Registered for PhD with Madras University in 2013 while serving as General Officer Commanding (GOC) Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala.
In two years after retiring as a general officer demanded Delhi’s head office in 2015, Subroto Mitra died.
But he has submitted his thesis report to the university.
Based on preferred, the University decided to provide a PhD to the army officer.
