Sohela (Bargarh): Rama Chandra Sahu is a green cross army, and how! The thick leaves on three roads connecting to Kangaon’s village in Block Sehela Bargarh Regency Odisha with nearby residences gave a testimony to the teacher’s mission which was now retired from 36 years.
Rama Mastre, as it favored by Sahu in his area, not only planted tillers along the roadside, but also diligently watered it every morning, until they became high and handsome.
He took water from the nearest pool, filling several containers at a time, and the cycle for each of the new puppies to water it, even today.
The year has passed.
Anus, now rooted as a giant tree and lush, has changed the village road which was once barren to be a bumpy green plot, stretched miles as far as the eye saw.
However, at the age of 77, the daily routine of Rama Mastre remained unchanged.
