Hyderabad: The exhibition community, who runs Polytechnic Kamala Nehru for women (KNPW), on Wednesday submitting a representation to the Commissioner of Technical Education, asking to continue the contract lecturer service and provide acceptance to students for the academic year 2021-22.
This, following the TOI report stating the institution, the country’s first polytechnic college for the woman, looked at the possibility of closing.
In the letter, the Secretary of the Dhiraj Kumar Jaiswal Exhibition Community, showed that although some similar requests to continue contract lecturer services made to the government, to allow universities to provide technical education, no action.
“Now as a polycet – 2021 is scheduled to be held on July 17, 2021, once again request that you can continue the service of 39 contract lecturers and also to provide acceptance to students like KNPW continues to do so provide technical education for this academic year 2021-2022,” Read the letter.
“It is also asked to fulfill the permit for the appointment (39) the contract lecturer to allow this polytechnic to function smoothly for this academic year 2021-2022,” added the Secretary of the Community.
The community will also clarify their booth regarding diploma courses on Friday.
