Revamp of set 93-94 Road in three months: GMDA

Written by news2in

Gurgaon: The 93 and 94 road separation sectors may soon become more motorbikes, because the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) plans to start special improvements to stretch this month.
According to officials, even though they had previously hoped to start work this week, heavy rains during the weekend delayed their plans.
Special improvements from a 1.3km-long stretch, which will be carried out at a cost of around Rs 4.3 Lakh, will involve road overlay, roadside road repairs and care for all lost channel covers, and other elements or touch-up paintings.
Official expect work to take around three months to complete.
“The work hasn’t started because of the rain that happened last week, but the contractor will begin.
We hope to work to start this month,” said a senior GMDA official.
“Special improvements include working in the top street layers.
It will take around three months to complete this special stretch repair.
This will be complete before the rainy season,” the official said.
The project has been in the pipe for several months now.
Proposed during the Core Planning Cell Meeting GMDA (BPK) in August.
Chief Executive Officer has directed officials to speed up project work.
Tenders that invite bids floated in the same month.
The material was again taken at the BPK meeting held last week.
