Haridwar: A group of seer organizing ‘Pratikar Yagya’ (retaliation ceremony) in Haridwar on January 16 to protest police actions at Dharam Sansad Hate Speech Case has provided a call for rituals to be held nationally and not limited to Haridwar.
Swami Prabodhananda, President of the Core Committee 21-member Seers were formed to hold Yagya, told TII, “We have asked Sers SERS to arrange ceremonies in their respective cities on January 16.” Meanwhile, Juna Akhara Mahamandaleshwar Yati Narsinghanand has said that everything ordered in the case of the Sansad Dharam Sansad speech will attend ‘Pratikar Yagya’ in Haridwar.
Among those who were ordered to give a “hatred speech” at the Conclary, which was held from December 17-19, was Jitendra Narayan Tyagi aka Waseem Rizvi, former Chairperson, Shia Central Waqf Board of Uttar Pradesh, Yati Narsinghanand, Controversial Pastor Dasna Temple In Ghaziabad, and Seers Dharamdas, Sadhvi Annapurna, and Sindhu Sagar.
Yagya in Haridwar was previously planned on a large scale.
But by looking at the latest Covid-19 guidelines, it has been upgraded.
“Only a local fortune teller and other Hindus will attend the ceremony to be held at Bairagi Camp,” Prabodhananda said, adding that “the ceremony will now be arranged throughout the country.
