Mangaluru: A boat that has traveled to the sea with 10 upside downward fishermen from Ullal Beach in Karnataka on Thursday after colliding with barge debris, the beach source said.
Nine people on the boat were saved by fishermen from other ships, while one person was lost and looked for him, said the source.
The boat is owned by someone from Ullal near Mangaluru.
It was alleged that it had collided with barge debris formed in the sea four years ago.
Losses have been estimated at around Rs 1.30 Crore, they said.
