New Delhi: Agriculture Minister Union Narendra Singh Tomar on Wednesday emphasized the implementation of the right central scheme and said the benefits must achieve bona fide.

The minister said the cover of the Kisan Credit Card (KCC) was given to farmers even under the shadow of covidpandemic.
The government has run a campaign since February 2020 to cover all farmers under the KCC with a special focus on the beneficiary of PM Kisan.
Tomar also informed that the loan target from RS 16 Lakh Crore has been set for the current fiscal year and around Rs 14 Lakh Crore has been given to farmers through KCC.
During the conference, the center asked UTS to expand assistance to farmers and banks to cover all farmers who qualified.
They were told to schedule camps at the Bank Branch Level to accept the application form for the KCC, to hold a gram Sabha meeting to notify farmers about the drive and to hold a review of reviews regularly.
The minister said agricultural infrastructure funds would help farmers to get loans easily for the development of infrastructure at the agricultural gate.
This scheme will help small farmers in the storage and protection of their plants.
Under the digital agricultural mission, Tomar said the 5.5-crore farmer database was prepared and it would reach 8 crores in December.
Tomar said there was a lot of potential in the union area for planting high-value plants and oil palm in accordance with global standards.
Manoj Sinha, Lieutenant Governor, J & K, Admiral D K Joshi, Lieutenant Governor, Andaman and Nicobar Island participate in discussions and provide an overview of the implementation of various central government schemes in each.
Other officials and delegates also participated in discussions.
During the conference, the presentation was given to all UT by senior officials of the Ministry of Agriculture on the Second Government scheme for the benefit of farmers.
The status of the Implementation of PM Fasal Bima Yojana is discussed.
NMEO-OP strategy, oil palm and palm oil mission is also discussed with emphasis on Andaman & Nicobar.
