LONDON: The British health regulator said on Monday Covid-19 vaccines did not increase the risk of miscarriage, and that it had not found the relationship between shots and changes in the menstrual period.
“There is no pattern of the report to suggest that one of the Covid-19 vaccines used in the UK, or any reaction to this vaccine, increases the risk of miscarriage or death,” said Medicines and the Health Product Regulatory Agency (MHRA) said in a statement.
Mhra’s findings were in line with similar reviews from Europe earlier this month, which did not show the causal relationship between Covid-19 vaccines and menstrual disorders.
