New Delhi: Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said on Friday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s decision to revoke three agricultural laws showed his sensitivity to the welfare of farmers.
“Today’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the benefit of farmers and respecting their sentiment has made a big decision to draw three agricultural laws.
This decision reveals the sensitivity of the prime minister towards the welfare of farmers.
I welcome this Prime Minister’s decision,” Singh said in a tweet.
Previously today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that the government had decided to revoke three agricultural laws.
Apologizing to citizens for three agricultural laws where the government “failed to convince” the farmers, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday urged farmers who protested to return to their homes.
In the address to the nation, PM Modi said, “We have decided to revoke the three agricultural laws, will begin the procedure in the parliamentary session this month.
I urge farmers to return to their homes and let’s start again.” Hundreds of farmers have protested in three Delhi borders since November 2020 with the request that the government revoked farmers’ trade and trade and trade laws, 2020; Farmer Agreement (Empowerment and Protection) on the Price Guarantee Act and Agriculture, 2020; and important commodity (amendment), 2020.
