Rich in Telangana looking for food cards intended for poor people

Hyderabad: In a surprising disclosure, officials examined the food security card intended for poor poor people in the country said many rich people, including the owners of a plot of agricultural land, taxpayers, and even government employees, have submitted a scheme.
Free Food Security Cards (FSC) are intended for poor people, but during recent verification rounds, the government rejects a record of 2.82 lakh applications because they are applicants who do not meet the requirements.
The Minister of Civil Equipment Gangula Kamalakar told TI that a number of rejected applications belonged to four-wheeled and professional owners among others.
State administration gave FSI to around 6.71 lakh applicants after receiving 9.53,394 applications and rejected 2,82,935 of them.
FSC distributed in two groups depends on the criteria for income and they are for the poor.
Distributed cards for RS 1 to beggars and homeless people, with each card titled The Holder to 36 kg of rice every month.
Revenue criteria for other categories say that in rural areas, annual family income must be less than Rs 1.5 lakh, and in urban areas, annual family income must be less than Rs 2 Lakh.
Families like that will get 6 kg of rice per member every month.
According to officials, people who do not meet the requirements for submitting cards because they do not realize that the government has created new software that will verify the status of each applicant and get information from various parameters paid by assets and taxes.
According to S Ramakrishna, social scientist and political observer, a disturbing trend can be associated with two factors.
“One reason clear is that people are reckless and selfish, because there is confidence in rural areas that do not become the recipient of the scheme will harm them because of their other records, such as voter cards, can be drawn,” he explained.
In other related development, regardless of the demand for state governments for rich farmers to “surrender” the money received under Rythu Bandhu’s plan, no more than RS 5 Crore returned under the scheme.
Two Dalits, including a government employee, advanced from Huzurabad and stated that they would not accept the Dalit Bandhu scheme because they were good without financial assistance.
