New Delhi: A woman driving a two-wheeled vehicle suffered a serious injury allegedly caused by string kites in the area of surrounding Northeast Delhi, police said on Tuesday.
Nisha (24), a resident of Nandnagri, driving a scooter with his mother riding a piliara on Monday night, they said.
At the mixed flyover, the kite string was lost attached to his neck, causing deep cutting, according to the police.
The woman rushed to the nearest hospital, where she was treated.
He was declared harmless but his statement would be recorded as soon as the doctors stated the bid, said a senior police officer.
A case has been registered under section 336 (acting endanger the life or personal safety of others) and 337 (causing injured because they act to endanger the life or personal safety of others) from the Criminal Procedure Code, he added.
