Thiruvananthapuram: The High Command Caracress is reported to have decided not to benefit those who criticize the state leadership of the appointment of the President of the District Congress Committee (DCC).
The source said President AICC Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi had communicated this to Tariq Anwar, AICC Secretary General who was responsible for Kerala.
KPCC K Sudhakaran President, who returned from New Delhi on Monday, refused to discuss any development of the list of DCC presidents.
“There will be no more discussion about controversy.
The party leadership opinion has been stated; no more added,” he said.
High command decisions not to give up at any pressure from group leaders and give free hand to state leadership in turning the party will mean that there will be no thought back to the appointment of the DCC president.
It is reported to direct that every decision taken in the party unit does not need to be dictated by the leader of the Ramesh Chennithala group and Chandy ommen.
The high order was also studied to find a list of leaders who openly criticized the appointment of the DCC president.
Secretary KPCC P Prasanth on Monday was dismissed from the party to openly criticize leadership.
Sudhakanan said the leader, who was in suspension, had been excluded from the main membership to proceed with allegations unfounded towards leadership.
Prasanth has accused the Party Leader of Palode Ravi because of his defeat in the constituency of Nedumangadu in the election of the Assembly and he was suspended for criticizing the leadership of the KPCC because he did not take action against Ravi.
He has submitted an accusation against the Secretary General of AICC K C Venugopal after Ravi was appointed Thiruvananthapuram DCC President.
Responding to Chandy’s criticism, K Sudhakanan said: “Senior leaders must think if Mudslinging will do a good thing for the party.” He continued to add that change would soon be seen at the party.
“Give us six months.
You will watch a new team at the DCC and KPCC levels,” he said.
Chandy had previously denied Sudhanakan’s claim that he had held a discussion with him (Chandy) twice.
“I never said there was no discussion.
What I said was that the discussion was incomplete.
The KPCC President only had one round of discussion with me and he told me that he would be back soon.
There was no answer after that,” he said.
Ramesh’s Staunch loyalist Joseph Vazakkan, meanwhile, strongly opposed the leadership for ignoring senior leaders such as Ramesh and Chandy while completing party posts.
“After the discussion, the KPCC President with these leaders on August 14, there was no more discussion.
There were even no phone calls.
In Kerala, no party leader could continue by ignoring senior leaders such as Ramesh and Chandy,” he said.
However, ‘A’ Loyalist the Thiruvanchor group Radhakrishnan said there was no need to controversy again.
“All party workers must obey the high command decision.
It stands for change at the party and all welcomed him,” he said.
The leader of the ‘I’ Sooranad Rajasisharan also echoed the same opinion, saying no point in criticizing high command decisions.
Leaders like K Muraleedharan, Rajmohan Unnithan and M M Hassan also urged the leaders to end Mudslinging.
