NEW DELHI: Reliance BP Freedom on Tuesday said its gas pumps will refuel with no cost vehicles located in the struggle against the pandemic throughout the nation.
Hospital and hospital documents, such as ambulances utilized for transferring Covid vehicles, patients used for ferrying medical oxygen too and automobiles authorised by principal minister’s office to get emergency Covid maintenance responsibility may get fuel without any charge in some of its 1,421 gas pumps operating below the Jio-bp brand.
A company announcement said the initiative, started in cooperation with Reliance Foundationthat may be extended past June.
It stated 811 kilolitres of gasoline worth over Rs 7 crore was distributed to 21,080 crisis vehicles May under the initiative hopes to distribute 50-60 KL free gas daily.
The business has set up a portable gas dispenser Mumbai for its purpose because its gas pumps are situated outside the town limits.
