Jaipur: Even though the country has reached a milestone of a million people who fully vaccinated 2 people against Covid, the inoculation step has been hit with 10.9 lakh beneficiaries attached to the last seven days until Saturday afternoon despite the availability of 55 lakh shots.
Of the 10.9 lakh shots, 8.3 lakh were the second dose and 2.6 lakh first.
At least 85 lakh people, who have received the first dose, have not received a second shot even though they qualify for it.
Step footsteps in vaccination centers have decreased, which is worried about health officials.
On Saturday, around 1.8 lakh doses were given at 6,235 sites.
“We send text messages to those who have qualified for the second dose,” said a health department official, adding enthusiasm to people has diminished.
They also urged people to be vaccinated in the Gaon Prasashasan camp to Sang and Shehron’s insash to Sang.
The source said the low picture has affected speed and not a vaccine stock.

Until Saturday, 66 doses of lakh were given compared to 1.2 crore shots in August and 1.14 crore in September.
There are 5.14 crores that meet the requirements (18+ age groups) in the state and 4.25 crore have received the first dose.
Of the 10.28 dose of the country’s crore need to fully vaccinate the eligible population, so far managed only 6.25 crore doses since the drive began in January.
Health Minister Raghu Sharma has urged people to get their Jab on time.
“More than two crores, people receive the second dose, but the figure is not enough.
