RIr: Coins Worth RS 11CR Missing from the SBI Branch

Jaipur: Officials of Bank of India (SBI) (SBI) Mehandipur Bajalji City in Karauli Regency was surprised after learning about embezzlement of coins worth Rs 11 Crore.
The bank authority has submitted a case at the ToDabhim police station and also asked the police to investigate the role of bank officials working in this branch five years ago.
According to the police, Hargovind Meena’s compliance, manager Mehandipur Bajalji Branch, in the FIR which was submitted on August 16, said the coin worth RS 13,62,11,275 was stored in accordance with the bank’s record, but only Rs 1.39 Crore was found.
“Embezzlement was revealed when bank management gave a tender to a private company to calculate coins on August 10 10.
After this, the Bank manager signaled a higher authority and then it was decided to file a wall.
We have registered fir and have started an investigation,” said a police officer .
It was also mentioned in the FIR that around 15 armed villains threatened one of the company employees not to calculate coins on August 11.
“The manager also demanded an investigation to employees who worked at the bank in the last 5 years,” the officer added.
In complaints, it was also accused that the former bank manager and other employees had behaved in this embezzlement.
“We have registered FIR and assistant sub-inspector rating events have been assigned to investigate this problem.
We will visit the bank and if necessary will call the former employee,” the officer added.
Police said there were two possibilities in this embezzlement.
“Whether coins sent to the company to count less or maybe there is a company involvement assigned to calculate coins.
We will investigate every corner,” said an officer.
