Jaipur: After seven days of falling steady in active cases, the state witnessed a surge in 58,603 to 59,513 cases on Thursday.
Jaipur also, where active cases have reduced every day for the past eight days, witnessing marginal gains from 14,162 to 14,979 in the last 24 hours.
In Jaipur, the active case has touched the peak on January 25 reaching 24,832.
Under circumstances, the active case touched the peak of 94,148 on January 26.
It was reported that 8,073 new Covid cases in the last 24 hours took the total calculation to 12.29.134.
The count of the victim reached 9,332 riding 22 deaths in the last 24 hours.
Six deaths were reported from Jaipur, three of Jodhpur while the two deaths of each of the city, Udaipur, while one death was reported from Ajmer, Bharatpur, Bundi, Churu, Dausa, Dungarpur, Sriganganganagar, Jhunjhunu and Karuli.
During the last 11 days in a row, the state had witnessed more than 20 deaths every day.
In 11 days, 237 people have died of Covid.
Jaipur has reported the highest number of deaths in 11 days.
Of 237 deaths, 59 reported from Jaipur, accounting for 25% of victims.
In the state, 7,141 people recovered from the disease in 24 hours, where 1,039 recovered at Jaipur, said a health department official.
