Jaipur: The country reported 24 Covid cases on Tuesday.
Of the 12 people found infected in the city, three are children who study in three different private schools.
However, the health department official claims that even though all children attend online classes and have infection history in their families.
In other development, the Ministry of Health conducted RT-PCR tests in Omicron patients to find out whether they tested the negative for the virus.
“All nine people tested positive for Omicron variants are on track to recovery,” said Dr.
Sudhir Bhandari, principal and controller, SMS Medical College.
While the country witnessed a surge in Covid cases, children had also been found to be infected with a virus.
“Three children were found to be infected with Covid in the city.
The three of them attended online classes.
Two students were in town, while the third was in Tamil Nadu and attended online classes,” said Dr.
Narrettam Sharma, Head of Medical Health Officer, Jaipur (I).
With 24 new Covid cases, the state counting reached 9.54,944.
There are no deaths reported.
The state toll stand at 8,956.
Active activation in the country has increased to 220, while 25 people have recovered in the last 24 hours.
Of the 24 cases reported in 24 hours, 12 was found infected with Jaipur, three cases each in Udaipur and Barmer, two in Ajmer, two in Dungarpur, and one case each reported from Bikaner and Jhunjhunu.
