Jaipur: The Industrial Department has looked at the Mous and Lois worth Rs 6.50 Lakh Crore during the Roadshow of Summit investors who now stand postponed.
The department has carried out a roadshow in Dubai and six other cities in this country.
While in Mumbai Roadshow, Mou worth RS 1.94 Lakh Crore was signed, Delhi was second with RS 1.05 Lakh Crore.
On the sidelines of the meeting of the Industrial Department, Industry and Trade Minister Shakuntala Rawat said that even though the Summit was postponed due to the increasing Covid case, the department would try to pursue their project.
“The Summit may have been delayed but we relate to potential investors to ensure that they began to implement projects on the grounds,” said Rawat.
As a general practice, after signing the MoU, investors tend to approach other state governments to bid a better deal for their investment.
The department has also signed a mous and lois with investors from Rajasthan too.
A senior official in BIP said that Rajasthan had contributed around RS 80,000 Crore to the total investment proposed.
In accordance with data, the proposed investment will create employment opportunities for 3 lakh people.
