Jaipur: The payment of the wage of nearly 42,000 MGNREGA workers has been rejected because of an error in their bank account details, KK Pathak Rural Development Secretary said during the ‘Prashashan Gaon to Sangh’ review on Sunday.
The head of the Executive Officer (CEO) of each district has been instructed to renew the details of the bank from these workers so that payments can be regenerated, said Pathak.
He further said labor planning must be ensured on Panchayat grams where labor work is still zero.
The main secretary, rural development and Pancayati Raj, Aparna Arora said the meeting with rural income and development and the Pancayati Department Raj must be set at the local level for land allotment in accordance with expansion proposals.
“This must be done to ensure benefits for maximum beneficiaries during the campaign,” he said.
He said the family who did not have land must be identified correctly before arranging camps so that the qualified family could benefit from publishing Pattas, under the Pradhan Mantri Wear Yojana-Grameen (PMAY-G), during the camp.
