Jaipur: A junior engineer and liquor contractor among seven people arrested from various parts of Rajasthan because of their alleged involvement in the reet cheat racket.
In the Aravali Alwar police station, a junior engineer was identified as Mool Chand Meena, and Bheem Singh’s liquor contractor was arrested for allegedly taking money from the student reet by ensuring their selection in the exam.
Police found a card recognition several reet students along with cash 8,000 from the two were accused.
Both were interrogated because of their alleged involvement in prospective cheating.
“We tried to check how many students did cheat these two accusations to date.
We have learned that they also take money by promising changes in inspection centers,” SP Tejaswani Gautam told toi.
City police also arrested two defendants who deceived students by promising their choices.
In Jaipur, the operation that began late at night caused the arrest of two girls in the Sindhi camp and one at Bajaj Nagar.
Sho Bajaj Nagar, Ramesh Saini said that the defendant Manohar Lal (24) was detained late at night and his interrogation revealed that he planned to appear as a Dummy candidate in the reet exam on Sunday.
The defendant is a government teacher.
The accusation of trying to look like a candidate, he plans to sit, by changing his hairstyle accordingly and put his photo on an identity card.
Likewise, two girls were also arrested late at night from the Sindhi camp.
The defendant was identified as Pramila Bishnoi (22) and Kumari Ananya (19).
The police found that Pramila had attached a photo of his mother while submitting a reet exam.
“The Admit reet card issued on the name Pramila has a picture of the name on it,” said an official.
