Rising Covid-19 Cases in Bengal, Assam: The Center asked the state to enforce the appropriate behavior of Covid

New Delhi: Given the increasing case of the Coronavirus, the weekly leading level and a decrease in testing figures in Assam and West Bengal, the Center has asked the state government to conduct a review of these parameters while emphasizing the enforcement of strict covid behavior.
In a letter to the Head of Secretary of Assam and West Bengal on October 26, the additional secretary in the Ministry of Health Union, the meaning of Ahuja, highlighted the increase in the Covid New Weekly case since the last week (October 20-26) and the initial signs of increasing participants.

Ahuja shows that the state has shown around 41 percent of the weekly new cases since the last week, 6,040 cases on Sunday October 20-26 compared to 4,277 cases on Sunday 13-19 and that the beginning of signs of increasing participants since the last four weeks, 93 percent on Sunday 28 September – October 4 2.39 percent over October 19-25.
West Bengal has also witnessed a decline in tests conducted from 2,62,319 for 28 September – 4 October to 2,61,515 on Sunday 19-25.

In this context, officers have emphasized the monitoring of cases with the implementation of the right detention zone, increasing focus on home-to-home searches for Covid cases active in this zone, strict monitoring and daily cases under their house isolation and referrals to Hospital and strengthening contact contacts of Positive Covid-19 people and reviewing detention zones in Assam and West Bengal.
In addition, there must be an analysis of the district death and very detailed facilities, which includes a review of the number of deaths that take place in 24 and 72 hours into hospitals to resolve problems related to hospital admissions and the need for treatment practice monitoring.
The letter also underlined the system to enter the start and smooth test figure, while maintaining a part of the RT-PCR test.
Aiming for the first dose coverage of 100 percent of the 18-plus population along with the increase in the second dose of vaccination for a qualified population, the letter was stated.
As far as the events and places of super spreaders, there must be strict supervision and monitoring in accordance with the standard operating protocol (SOP) from the Ministry of Health and testing in accordance with the Guidelines for the Indian Medical Research Council (ICMR), in addition to ensuring Covid – according to behavior: Wearing masks and physical distance must be strictly enforced.

The rapid response team must be formed according to the Insacog guidelines for detailed mutation investigations reported through insacog.
