RJD demanded debate on March 23 police violence

Patna: In a unique protest, some RJD legislators came to the legislative assembly on the first day of the Monsun session wearing a helmet as a ‘self protection’ step.
They used such steps in the protest of Manehandling of the opposition MLA by the police during the passing of the Special Police Bihar (BSAP) in the budget session on March 23.
RJD MLA from Makhdumpur (Jehanabad Regency) Satish Kumar arrived in a helmet cricket and also brought a pair of brass cymbals, while MLA’s party from Mahua, Mukesh Roshan, wore a motorcycle helmet.

Previously, Vijay Kumar Assembly Speaker Sinha said two police officers were found guilty of violations of the protocol had been suspended.
But opposition leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav stated that there was no action taken against police officers who gave the command to the police to beat MLA.
