Patna: RJD will hold a national executive meeting on February 20 at Patna, according to a letter issued by the National Secretary General of the Party of Abdul Bari Siddiqui.
“A meeting was summoned on February 20 to discuss new membership drives for 2022-2025 and elections from primary members to the national level,” said the letter.
According to sources, national executives consist of around 76 members, including current and former parliamentarians, all presidents of the country, and others choose this group.
The meeting was important because it would result in the formation of the new National Council who would elect the party president after the driver’s moving and membership of members to various positions.
Then Prasad has become the Head of RJD since July 5, 1997, and his current term will expire in December 2022.
