Nagpur: Over the past five months, more than 500 plot owners walk between Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) and Nagpur Reprovement Trust (NIT) to get a regularization letter (RL).
Despite paying the RL fee needed for NMC, the owner of the plot has been requested by NIT to pay it again because the civil body has quoted the inability to transfer income received to issue RL.
Commissioner of Radhakrishnan B is guaranteed to immediately resolve the problem.
Chairman of Nit Manoj Kumar Suryawanshi also said this problem will be arranged with NMC.
Guardian Minister Nitin Raut said he had not received complaints in this matter.
“I will solve a dispute between NMC and Nit,” he said.
Former Chairman of the Standing Committee and Corporator Vijay Zalke told TII, “The State Government, on August 27, 2019, made the NMC Sol Planning Authority for the City.
All applications are delayed for regularization of layout and plots along with sanctions for building plans submitted to NMC by NIT itself.
Only after that NMC arranges one layout, several plots and agreed building plans.
“Zalke added that after completing the process, NMC issued a request record for the owner’s plot for the cost of RL.
“Meanwhile, the government on April 9, 2021, restored NIT’s power as a planning authority for seven schemes.
At this time, more than 500 plot owners have paid allegations to NMC, but the process of releasing the RLS is waiting,” he said.
“After the government’s decision, the NMC handed all cases delayed to Nit.
It is the responsibility of NIT to release the RLS after verifying the receipt issued by NMC.
However, Nit does not release the RL and instead demand the cost of the plot owner,” he said.
“The plot owner has sent the application and pays the cost to the planning authority that day, I.e NMC.
Because they have paid a fee, Nit must immediately release RL,” Zalke said.
The source in NIT claims the Raut wants NMC to deposit the allegations paid by the owner of the plot with the Civic Agency.
