Patna: The train has been canceled and abbreviated as some pairs of mail and train express both originating from or past the Jurisdiction of East Central Railway (ECR) from December 29 and so on due to ‘Kisan Agitation’ in the Ferozpur division from North Railway (NR)).
According to the Chairman of the ECR Public Relations Officer (CPRO) Rajesh Kumar, “the train has canceled Amritsar-Jayanagar Express (14650) scheduled to come from Amritsar on December 29 while Darbhanga-Amritsar Express (15211) will be canceled on January 1, leaving Darbhanga on January 1 “Likewise, Amritsar-Darbhanga Express (15212) will be canceled on December 29 from the side of Amritsar while Amritsar-Jayanagar Special (04652) will also be canceled on December 29 from Amritsar End because of the ongoing agitation.
Amritsar-New Jalpaiguri Express (04654) will be canceled from Amritsar on December 29 and the Jayanagar-Amritsar Express (14649) will not run on December 31 from Jayanagar End, said CPRO.
Likewise Jayanagar-Amritsar Special (04651) will be canceled on December 31 from the end of the Jayanagar, while Kolkata-Jamu Tawi Express (13151) was canceled on December 28 from Kolkata End, he said.
In addition, the Jayanagar-Amritsar Express (14649) from Jayanagar on December 28, briefly stopped at Ambala, while Howrah-Amritsar Express (13005) abbreviated in Ludhiana.
Dhanbad-Ferozpur Express (13307) was also briefly stopped in Ludhiana.
Patna-Jamu Tawi Express (12355) was briefly stopped at Ludhiana and Sambalpur-Jamu Tawi Express (18309) briefly set in Delhi.
In addition, the train experiences shortly starting at least seven long distance letters and express passenger trains from different stations because of agitation.
Amritsar-Saharsa Express (12204) will come from New Delhi instead of Amritsar on December 29, while Jammu Tawi Express -Patna (12356) will come from Ludhiana, said CPRO added, Amritsar-Howrah Express (13006) will also come from Ludhiana.
Ferozpur-Dhanbad Express (13308) and Vaishno Devi Katra and Vaishno Devi Katra-Kamakhya Express (15656) will be shortened from Ludhiana on December 29.
Tawa Tawa-Kolkata Express (13152) will come from Saharanpur while Jammu Tawi-Guwahati Express (15652) will be short from Ludhiana on December 29.
