Ranchi: Various Senior Corporation Officers Ranchi Municipal (RMC), including Commissioners of RMC Mukesh Kumar and Rupesh City Manager Ranjan, Mritunjay Kumar and Aftab Alam have been tested positively Covid but assistant commissioner Kunchal Civic’s body, has convinced it has not hampered their sanititis and cleanliness in the city.
“Although senior officials have been tested positively, field workers continue with the work allocated cleanliness and sanititis,” Singh said.
Mayor, Sanjeev Viyajwarigiya said, “As it is now, field workers have not been infected by the virus and hence, drives of cleanliness are taking place as usual.
Therefore, we do not need to look for the current alternative.” RMC has more than 3,000 workers, including around 200 is a contractual staff.
Field workers have become representatives in all areas for cleaning cleaning channels and small.
Violating the Civic body field worker facing the Covid-19 contract risk, RMC has not produced a mechanism to test them.
“RMC does not apply to testing because it is the responsibility of the Ministry of Health to do so,” Singh said.
Kunwar Singh City Commissioner ensured that the Civic’s body took all the precautions for the frontline workers.
